About our puppy training course

Our 8 week puppy course is suitable for fully vaccinated puppies, up to 18 weeks of age at the start of the course. The course is aimed at building confidence, developing socialisation skills with other puppies of similar age, humans and things within the environment. The course will help you build a good foundation to your puppy's learning journey, as you both have fun learning together, improving communication, developing trust and strengthening your bond.

Included in our puppy training course
- Obedience training -sit, down, stay, release cue, leave, drop, eye contact etc.
- Recall and loose-lead walking.
- Learning in a distracting environment.
- Handling experience (getting ready for a visit to the vets or groomers.)
- Socialisation on and off the lead.
- Fun games!
- Learning to settle.
- Building confidence and developing bond through play.
- Preventing unwanted behaviour.
- A better understanding to how dogs learn and using reward based training.
- House training, biting and mouthing, health and general care advice, diet, what's poisonous to a dog and much more.
The classes are kept small to ensure you and your puppy get the individual attention required.
It has been the best puppy course we have been on over the last few years. As well as informative, it has been an enjoyable 8 weeks for both of us & our puppy.

I would encourage owners to start thinking about puppy classes as soon as they know when they are picking up their puppy. Most puppies have their first vaccination with their breeder. Our 8 week puppy course is suitable for fully vaccinated puppies, up to 18 weeks of age at the start of the course. We also offer a course for older puppies.
I am a positive reward dog trainer. Reward based training is a positive reinforcement method that encourages desired behaviours by offering rewards, like treats, praise or toys, when the dog performs a behaviour correctly. This method builds trust between the owner and the dog while making learning enjoyable for both.
The 8 week costs £145. We also offer 1-1 training starting from £35 an hour.
